FYI on Kodak Plus Digital Camera

Kodak EasyShare C143-Camera Electronic Digital With Clear Picture And Nice Pattern

So far so good.... works superior to advertised. Pictures are crystal clear, apart from a few caused by camera protein shake (me sneezing).. A top notch product, would highly recommend it to friends. Kodak has a winner below. I purchased
Kodak EasyShare C143 and quite happy with it so far. I noticed several reviews complaining of short battery living. I had the same problem, but found the fault was acquire for not fully charging the batteries initially. Bought new batteries (same brand and type as what sported the camera), fully charged them, and presto, the battery drain charge was dramatically improved. Approximately 4 to 5 times longer as opposed to first pair I managed to prop up. About 300 pictures before I had to give 'em a fresh photo of juice (electricity).

A feature not mentioned in your ad is this camera does in truth have "5x Digital Zoom" as well as the 3x optical zoom.

I've had the camera only a few days, but have taken over 400 pictures (mostly just junk shots discovering the camera and its settings) and also have no complaints whatsoever. Camera seems to have longevity, body feels and looks like its made from metal/aluminum, it may be plastic, hard to tell as its so well constructed. Buttons certainly are a tad small, but that turns out becoming a plus, as with my other photographic camera, I keep changing the settings because buttons are "To Easy" to media.

I like that Kodak EasyShare C143 reverts to the default "Auto" setting when powered down and back on again. Makes photograph taking simple, just turn it in, point and shoot and get great shots without having fussing around with settings. The 1 issue, however minor, is when the batteries are taken off or battery compartment is opened to clear out memory card, you have to reset the clock. Not a big matter, just a minor annoyance. I'm retried, well, i don't worry about time anyway..

Also read a few complaints of poor picture quality along with Kodak EasyShare C143. The first few pictures I took were blurry and way out of focus. Problem was my fault (and might be that of others also) intended for not letting the camera focus. Press the button half way till the frame for the display turns green.... then snap and great pictures from there on out there.. When problems arise, hit the Kodak web page, great resource for solving camera and also picture problems.

Setup is a click, just plunk the batteries in (after they're charged needless to say), set the language, date as well as time.... point, shoot, and unlike a new former Vice President, you won't miss that once in a lifetime perfect shot.... picture that is actually. Great camera for us older persons, who like me, don't quite yet grasp the digital age fully. Why I'd even recommend this towards the ex-wife and her attorney.... for a smaller fee. (wink)

Another feature I love, is the built-in Help system. It describes every setting for each menu choice. If you learn nothing else about your camera, learn how you can use the on-camera Help feature.
